class=\"bloc-pg-contenu-title\">Legal basis<\/h1>            <p class=\"bloc-pg-contenu-sstitle\">Anyone who has a solar installation on their roof can share their electricity with other people<\/p>   \n                        <div class=\"bloc-pg-contenu-text\"><p>With the entry into force of the Law <a href=\"https:\/\/legilux.public.lu\/eli\/etat\/leg\/loi\/2023\/06\/09\/a288\/jo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">( Loi du 9 juin 2023 modifiant la Loi du 1er ao\u00fbt 2007 relative \u00e0 l\u2019organisation du march\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9 )<\/a>, owners of electricity production plants can now decide not to inject their excess electrical energy directly into the electricity distribution grid, but rather to enter a \u201cSharing group\u201d and share their electricity with others, i.e. with immediate neighbours or with people who live further away.<\/p>\n<\/div>                            <button class=\"box-toggle bloc-pg-contenu-button\">\n <div class=\"bloc-pg-contenu-text-read\" style=\"display:none;\">\n                    <p>For this to work, clear rules are needed, in particular to know:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>how and between whom electricity can be shared;<\/li>\n<li>how the electricity distribution is calculated within a Sharing group;<\/li>\n<li>what are the obligations and rights of:\n<ul>\n<li>consumers ;<\/li>\n<li>operators of production plants;<\/li>\n<li>electricity distribution grid operators (hereinafter &#8220;grid operators&#8221;);<\/li>\n<li>energy communities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>All these rules, rights and obligations are set out in the Articles 8ter and 8quater of the Law (Loi du 9 juin 2023 modifiant la Loi du 1er ao\u00fbt 2007 relative \u00e0 l\u2019organisation du march\u00e9 de l\u2019\u00e9lectricit\u00e9).<\/p>\n<p>The Institut Luxembourgeois de R\u00e9gulation (ILR) has defined the framework within which the members of a Sharing group can share their electrical energy between themselves:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/legilux.public.lu\/eli\/etat\/leg\/rilr\/2024\/02\/05\/a46\/jo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">R\u00e8glement ILR\/E24\/1 du 05 f\u00e9vrier 2024<\/a> \u200barr\u00eatant le mod\u00e8le de r\u00e9partition statique et simple pour le partage de l\u2019\u00e9nergie \u00e9lectrique produite.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.ilr.lu\/cadre-legal\/decision-ilr-e24-2-du-05-fevrier-2024-2\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">D\u00e9cision ILR\/E24\/2 du 05 f\u00e9vrier 2024<\/a> portant acceptation de la convention-type d\u2019autoconsommation pour les autoconsommateurs d\u2019\u00e9nergies renouvelables agissant de mani\u00e8re
